#527 of Year 2 Lego 7279 City Police Minifigure Collection

It's Sunday, and the final day of Lego week for this month.  It has been Lego City Police for the past two days, so I thought I might as well continue the theme with another Police set.  This one though, is not a Special Edition.

It seems that the minifigure craze is still going on strong as Lego is now putting out maxi-impulse sets like this one with just minifigures.  This isn't the only one that's released this year, I opened the City minifigure set earlier this week.  The front of the box does show a rather nice action scene with the cops chasing the robbers, and that theme is repeated on the back of the box.

I was surprised that there were two baggies inside the box, and the instruction book as well.  The instruction book even had a minicomic strip at the end of it.

There's only four minifigures in the set, a dog, a free-standing cash point machine and a police buggy.  The buggy is simple yet nice.  The cash dispensing machine looks similar to the one from the Bank set yesterday, but does have noticable differences.

Again, this set struck me as being two sets mashed up into one; each pair of cop/robber could comfortably fit into one set with the buggy in one and the dog and cash machine in the other.  This mash-up works better than some of the previous ones though.
